This beautiful tree can grow to be 70 feet tall and 35 feet wide. It grows best in Full sun, in wet or dry soil, with acidic to neutral pH, and a wide range of soil compositions. It small white flowers in late spring aren't showy, but attract a wide range of pollinators. The berries attract all kinds of mammals and birds in late summer to early fall. The real show is in the fall when the leaves turn a vibrant red.
